That’s right, our very own Sasha has earned her coconut nickname for reasons we’ll reveal soon. 😉

But first, let’s suit up and head into those crystal-clear waters! As we get ready for our first dive, there’s a lighthearted moment when Sasha tries on her spearfishing gear, but instead of a spear, she’s holding...a coconut cocktail? 🥥🍹Classic Sasha, already bringing the island vibes to a whole new level.

With our laughter echoing above, we dive into the turquoise waters surrounding Hawaii’s breathtaking islands. First stop: the Big Island! Known for its rich marine life and vibrant coral reefs, this spot is a spearfisher’s dream.

As we descend, Coconut Sasha shows off her impressive skills, while the rest of us try not to lose our cool watching her spear two fish in one go. Of course, there’s no shortage of jokes:

"Do those fish come with a side of coconut, Sasha?" "Only if you're brave enough to try my secret coconut fish recipe!" she jokes.

We didn’t waste any time getting into the action here, and you can expect some hilarious underwater footage of our attempts to stay serious while Coconut Sasha does all the hard work. 2. Makaha Beach (Oahu)
After taking a quick hop to Oahu, we found ourselves at the legendary Makaha Beach. Known for deeper dives and bigger fish, the locals rave about this spot. This is where Sasha really takes her spearfishing game up a notch, while the rest of us...well, let’s just say we try. Here, the fish are huge, and you might see species like the Ulua (Giant Trevally). Here, we slow down, relax, and enjoy the pristine beauty of Kauai. Sasha catches one last fish for the day, and this time...we’re all ready for what’s coming next.

Back on shore, it’s time for Sasha’s culinary moment—the one we’ve all been waiting for. After all, she’s been teasing us with this “coconut fish recipe” the whole trip. Here’s the recipe, straight from the queen herself:

Coconut Sasha’s Tropical Island Fish Feast

• 2 freshly speared fish (Uhu or Mu if you can, but any fresh catch will do)
• 1 coconut, split open for the freshest coconut water and flesh
• Lime juice (from limes we grabbed earlier)
• Hawaiian sea salt
• Freshly grated ginger
• A handful of chopped cilantro
• Chili flakes for some island spice

Step 1: Grill your speared fish lightly on an open flame (beachside preferred, naturally). While grilling, prepare the coconut salsa by mixing lime juice, coconut flesh, ginger, cilantro, and chili flakes.
